iQ.Suite SASI Daemon Docker Image

As of iQ.Suite for Microsoft Exchange 21.1, a new SASI Daemon Engine is integrated in addition to the previous Sophos Anti Spam Engine. Therefor a Docker image is needed. (Support for the previous Sophos SASI Engine ends on September 1, 2024.)

The iQ.Suite SASI Daemon Docker Image is available via Docker Hub.

SQLite Datenbank Cleanup Fix (807.07 KB)
Problem description:

Affects iQ.Suite versions > 21.0.5 when using SQLite databases. When deleting LocItem entries from SQLite quarantine databases, the associated LocItemDetails entries are not deleted automatically. For existing SQLite databases, a PowerShell script can be run to clean orphaned entries manually.

Latest support information

If you use the iQ.Suite WebClient together with the Microsoft Entra ID login process, we recommend that you install a current WebClient version (>=22.2.3 or >=21.2.9).

The latest iQ.Suite WebClient versions contain an important security fix.

Microsoft has discontinued the use of Azure Active Directory Graph on June 30, 2022.

As of iQ.Suite Microsoft 20.1 Azure AD Graph in iQ.Suite will be completely converted to Microsoft Graph.

The Microsoft Access Database Engine (AccessDatabaseEngine_X64.exe) is installed in the iQ.Suite Setup. If an error occurs during the installation and the database engine is not installed correctly, it is possible to install this engine separately afterwards.

Please download the 64-bit setup from the Microsoft website.

For installation: Open a Windows command prompt or PowerShell, change to the folder in which the setup is saved and start the setup with the following command line:
AccessDatabaseEngine_X64.exe /quiet

* The setup of iQ.Suite for MSX and SMTP does not contain the tk_certmgr.exe file any longer. Please use this file for import, export and CRL check functionality of S/MIME certificates.

OutsideIn-Patches

OutsideIn-Patch 8.5.7 HF22669

All patches up to and including the Oracle Critical Patch Update April 2025 are included.

In iQ.Suite versions from 23.1.1, the OutsideIn patch 8.5.7 can be easily replaced.

Procedure for installing the OutsideIn patch:

  • Back up the …\GBS\iQ.Suite\Bin\oit\ directory of the iQ.Suite.
  • After the backup, delete the entire contents of the “oit” directory.
  • Copy all files of the OutsideIn patch to the “oit” directory.
  • Then copy the two files (ntk_oittext.dll and tk_oitpdf.dll) from the backup directory back to the “oit” directory.
