Problem
Solution
iQ.Suite for Domino can be installed on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12 (SLES 12) under the following circumstances:
- 64 bit version of Domino 9.0.1, Fix Pack 3 Interim Fix 1 or higher
- Following software packages must be installed.
Some of the packages listed below must be installed even if a newer version of the package has already been installed. This is the case when the newer package has a different internal library name (for example libstdc++.so.6 stattlibstdc++.so.5). The new package also has a new package name (not only a new version number). It may be co-installed with the older package and will not replace it.
32-bit packets and 64-bit packets must be installed:
32-bit packets:
Library | SLES 12 |
---|---|
libc.so.6 | glibc-32bit |
libgcc_s.so.1 | libgcc_s1-32bit |
libstdc++.so.5 | libstdc++33-32bit |
libz.so.1 | libz1-32bit |
The libstdc++33-32bit packet is part of the SLES 12 Legacy Module. If it has not been installed previously, the Legacy Module must be added prior to installation of the libstdc++33-32bit packet.
Support for the Legacy Module is time-limited. When SUSE discontinues support fort he Legacy Module, GBS will also cease. For continued support, it will be necessary to upgrade to a newer version, which no longer requires the Legacy Module.
64-bit packet
Library | SLES 12 |
---|---|
libpng12.so.0 | libpng12-0 |
Library | SLES 12 |
---|---|
libpng12.so.0 | libpng12-0-32bit |
libstdc++.so.5 | libstdc++33-32bit |
Use the following command to view the architecture of the currently installed software:
rpm --qf '%{Arch}\t%{Name}-%{Version}-%{Release}\n' -q
