iQ.Suite MMC Console in 64-Bit operating system

Administrators are able to compile the desired administrative tools in a .MSC file using the Microsoft Management Console (MMC). The iQ.Suite Snap-In can also be used for this. Here, we will show you what to take into consideration for Windows Server 2008.

Step by Step

When starting the command “MMC“ in Windows Server 2008 and running the “Add/Remove Snap-In“, you will find that even though iQ.Suite is installed, it does not appear in the list of available Snap-Ins.
The reason is, that iQ.Suite Console is installed as a 32-Bit program and the “MMC” command by default only shows 64-Bit Snap-Ins. In order to store iQ.Suite in an individual .MSC file, start the program MMC with the -32 parameter.

Done

Now, you are also able to find iQ.Suite Console in the list of Snap-Ins.
