Problem
Avira is changing its update infrastructure. This should be done by the end of July 2021.
The download URL for pattern and engine updates has changed for the Avira Scan Engine. The new URL is: https://oem.avira-update.com/update.
It is provided by an Akamai content delivery network.
However, the corresponding IPs can change constantly.
Solution
Avira updates in the iQ.Suites can now be downloaded from the GBS Update Server.
The new URL is: http://updater.gbs.com/savapi64
IPs: 217.160.178.186, 178.254.36.199
