At the same time, the popular concept of establishing a healthier work-life balance means balancing the ratio between private and professional spheres. The goal is to strike a balance between private interests and the demands of the professional world. Measures to reduce availability to healthy levels are needed.
GBS’ iQ.Suite helps to establish a healthier work-life balance. Emails sent to an inbox outside of regular business hours are not delivered to the employee until the next workday begins. To ensure that particularly important or business-critical emails are delivered continuously, exception rules can be configured.
Step by Step
Create a special quarantine for temporarily parking mails outside of regular business hours to map work-life balance scenarios with iQ.Suite.
In order for quarantined emails to be delivered at the beginning of the next workday, configure the corresponding ‘resend’ options under the “Schedule“ tab.
In this example, all quarantined emails are delivered on weekdays at 7 a.m. The time window can be adjusted based on individual needs. Quarantine elements are removed after resending has been completed.
The address rule determines which emails are processed. Important senders can be excluded.
Now select the corresponding quarantine using the Actions tab. Check “delete email“ to prevent delivery of emails to employees, even when copying to quarantine is enabled.
